Note that many proponents of Obama argue that this “Certification of Live Birth” is not the real deal – it’s supposed to be some kind of forgery. I’m just going to say that this is the document that the state of Hawaii produces when a birth certificate is requested. What the original birth certificate may have looked like back in 1961 isn’t relevant since that piece of paper is not an original document like a will or a contract.

The original birth certificate is relevant because it was signed by actual witnesses to the birth.
The 2008 computer print-out is not relevant because it was created by non-witnesses 47 years after the birth. In any event, the information on the 2008 computer print out would have had to come from the original 1961 birth certificate — otherwise it would have just been made up. So ultimately, the 1961 birth certificate is the ONLY relevant document. And Obama refuses to release it. If it even exists.
